Wonderful colour and a beautiful scene. As with most HDRs this doesnt quite look real but its very close and quite magical.

Love this shot. I like how you can see right into the water.

It was very windy and there was wave action so I think that is what caused the fuzzy look to the water. Thanks!

yeah get a new tripod.. hehheh
the thing about this photo is the foreground is so clear and immediate and its blends to the distant background without any transition seemingly.... its weird.... its foreground and background without no middleground..... now I'm rambling.... sorry :D

There was a lot of movement in the water and the wind was pretty strong. Some maybe HDR, but I think these factors added to the unsharpness. .....and yes, it is time to get a new tripod. The head is loose even when I tighten it down. Thanks Andy.

Really? Were you handholding the camera? If not, what kind of tripod do you use?
I bought two tripods when I first started and wondered why my images weren't as sharp as I'd like them to be in longer exposures....in the end it came down to spending money on a decent tripod (manfrotto, gitzo or benbo)

Thanks Andy. I'll put up a non-HDR version when I get home. Some of the blur is due to the long shutter speed. Yes HDR can be noisy and unsharp.

Hi Liia! Hope all is well! Thanks for the comment. As for HDR, I'll put a non- HDR version when I get home. This was a long exposure (so some of the blur is due to that).

Hi Eva! Beautiful rocks of Cape Breton!! The sky, reflections just outstanding. Very nice group of shots. I still must say, I'm not a fan of HDR, but I'm in a minority I think! Lovely comp, lovely shot...

Lovely angle...Looks a little out of focus around the rocks. Is this HDR?..it might just been artifacts created by the HDR process (HDR shots always seem noisy and unsharp to me).

Lovely composition though, and the sky is great

that is really pretty!
I love the water overtop the rocks at the bottom.
I actually like that you captured the smooth motion of the water for this picture instead of a still framed detailed shot.
