I can't tell you all how eerie this place really was, especially after sunset.... Callinish, Isle of Lewis, Scotland. I always wanted to see Stonehenge, but I think this place is much better since I could actually stand amongst the standing stones. Chilling experience. ...and yes at this point of the evening, I was the only one standing next to these amazing ancient stones.

Magical place. Been there many moons ago. Did you make it to the southern most island - Bara ?

MIve always wanted to go to Stonehenge, as well. It's too bad you can't stand among the stones. I bet its a powerful place. I bet the same for Callinish. Now I want to go there also. Beautiful photograph!
