At sunset there is always some surprise light show on Inverness Beach, Nova Scotia. An hour earlier, I was certain there was not going to be a light show that night with the heavy cloud cover but there it was. Just as the sun dipped below the horizon the clouds took on an eerie glow. On my favorite beach ....... This image was taken about an hour after..... [link]

This is wonderful… It makes me wish I had a camera again. That and the sun set we had here to night, it is snowing and the sun pop out under the clouds for about 3 minutes before setting. I have never seen a snow rainbow before and 20 seconds later it was gong and we had orange snow.

Beautiful sunset Eva, very well captured. Handled the exposure brilliantly, and I really like the glow of the sun on the foreground sand.
