Stones, surf, and light at Clashach Cove near Hopeman, Scotland.

It is truly difficult to capture the character of a place such as this in a fleeting snap as this surely is. What you don't see / hear is the clashing of stones in the surf.... forming and smoothing them further.

Most intriguing! The shapes of the stones are so organic and 'soft' they almost look like creatures lying in the surf. :)
