You were less than an hour from where I live :) It's a beautiful area - have you been to Cape Breton? It's incredible along the trails too. And well, PEI is my favorite place on this side of North America for beauty too - very pastoral and rugged. A short trip away from NS. Newfoundland has it's own charm too! :)

Have have been to Cape Breton (Highlands, Inverness, St. Ann's Bay) several times and will be going again in October for the Celtic Music Festival. I love it there. Never been to PEI, Newfoundland and Labrador but they are on my list.

*smiles* After having posted that comment, I realized the same thing - lovely photos. PEI is best to visit in August (middle to late) if you can - that's when the foliage is hitting peak color -- or late July if you want the crops golden and dancing in the wind :) August is when our major festivals hit though, loads of night life and entertainment - and exhibitions of horse jumping, races, agricultural fair, midway, etc as well as the blueberry festival etc etc. Great golfing too)

Just a little plug for my Island - IMO besides New Zealand it's the most beautiful place anywhere

Hi Jerrica - I really do want to visit PEI..... I have heard so many great, great things about....... Here in the US from friends, and when I was in Canada. Me hearing it from you, just adds more fuel to the fire for me to get there ASAP. Thanks again!

All i could say when I saw it was WOW
That is just beautiful. Can I ask ya, is your camera the type that has removable lenses for like telephoto and panoramic? Mine isnt and Im really wanting to get a better camera and trying to figure out the best kind and the pictures you take just come out so crisp and clear and gorgeous...

Thank you Vicki. I took this with an SLR - a Canon 40D...... but it is not about the camera, it is what you see with it. Crisp and clear comes from a steady platform (tripod etc.) and proper settings - shutter time and aperture setting.

I am so wanting to go through classes to take better pictures cuz I have loved photography since I was old enough to hold a camera. But I dont wanna do anything like that until I have a better camera for it.
Thanks for the info :)

Wow! This is beautiful, Eva. BTW, how do you like that 10-22mm lens? I've been courting the idea of getting one...

Thanks Dave! Well, I sold it along with my 40D since I now have the 5DMarkII full frame. The 10-22 was my favorite lens with my 40D and 20D but it doesn't fit the full frame Canons. I now have a 16-35mm which is equivalent for the full frame.

That would make sense... :D I suppose I'll upgrade to the full size sensor eventually... kinda like my 1.6x conversion on the long lenses though... :)
