You were less than an hour from where I live

It's a beautiful area - have you been to Cape Breton? It's incredible along the trails too. And well, PEI is my favorite place on this side of North America for beauty too - very pastoral and rugged. A short trip away from NS. Newfoundland has it's own charm too!

Have have been to Cape Breton (Highlands, Inverness, St. Ann's Bay) several times and will be going again in October for the Celtic Music Festival. I love it there. Never been to PEI, Newfoundland and Labrador but they are on my list.

*smiles* After having posted that comment, I realized the same thing - lovely photos. PEI is best to visit in August (middle to late) if you can - that's when the foliage is hitting peak color -- or late July if you want the crops golden and dancing in the wind

August is when our major festivals hit though, loads of night life and entertainment - and exhibitions of horse jumping, races, agricultural fair, midway, etc as well as the blueberry festival etc etc. Great golfing too)

Just a little plug for my Island - IMO besides New Zealand it's the most beautiful place anywhere

Hi Jerrica - I really do want to visit PEI..... I have heard so many great, great things about....... Here in the US from friends, and when I was in Canada. Me hearing it from you, just adds more fuel to the fire for me to get there ASAP. Thanks again!
