St. Ann's Bay, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.
I have photographed these particular trees many times since 2006. By some lucky chance, when I went out to photograph the sunrise, I noticed a crescent moon perfectly centered between these two birch trees. They seem to be enjoying the early morning light and moon as much as I was. BTW - This was taken the same morning as my last post..... a testament to the very changeable weather and skies on Cape Breton.... and oh how I love that smooth tonal transition of film......
